The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Restoration is responsible for developing and executing the overall strategy of the business line, overseeing and optimizing the performance of company departments and profit centers. This strategic leadership role focuses on creating comprehensive business strategies, monitoring critical performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement across operational frameworks.

The SVP will develop and implement leading indicators to proactively identify potential challenges, work closely with regional teams and corporate leadership, and ensure the organization's operational excellence and strategic alignment. Through strategic vision and hands-on leadership, the SVP will be accountable for enhancing internal processes, elevating customer experiences, and delivering sustained business performance across the entire business line.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in commercial building restoration, with deep industry and operational expertise. Scopes include restoration related to masonry, stonework, concrete repair, window and building sealants, stucco, and below-grade waterproofing among others.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, process improvement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Proven history of driving operational improvements and elevating organizational performance
  • Expertise in developing strategic performance metrics that transform business challenges into actionable outcomes
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to inspire high-performing teams across multiple locations
  • Demonstrated capability to make data-driven decisions and lead strategic growth initiatives
  • Strong leadership communication skills with experience implementing comprehensive KPIs and performance indicators
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams and organizational levels
  • Ability to travel throughout the southeastern United States
  • Flexible mindset able to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and organizational priorities
  • Collaborative leadership approach aligned with organizational values and strategic objectives
  • Ability to effectively translate corporate strategy into local market execution
  • Track record of revenue growth paired with high safety standards and operational excellence
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Computer – Salesforce (continuing education requirements) / Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • High degree of self-confidence 
  • Motivated and professional
  • Must speak English fluently; Spanish is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of building restoration scopes and specific OEM requirements. Candidate needs to be knowledgeable of the following systems: brick and masonry, concrete (structural and otherwise), stonework, window and building sealants, below-grade waterproofing, and stucco.
Essential Functions
  • Be a champion of the Baker Fundamentals 
  • Manage and lead recruiting, hiring, and mentoring to build a talent pipeline that supports strategic regional objectives 
  • Comprehensively monitor performance of departments, identifying strategic opportunities for improvement across the business line
  • Develop and leverage leading indicators to proactively identify and address potential organizational challenges
  • Conduct systematic analysis of operational issues, distinguishing between isolated and systemic challenges, and implement strategic solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance internal processes, operational efficiency, and customer experience
  • Establish strategic pricing models for bids and vendor relationships that support broader business objectives
  • Collaborate to create and implement comprehensive "Best Practices" that drive organizational excellence
  • Strategically assess and optimize labor resources and operational capabilities across the business line
  • Align service strategies and ensure consistent execution through cross-functional collaboration
  • Conduct strategic assessment tours of southeastern divisions to validate operational performance and strategic implementation
  • Lead performance review meetings to foster transparency, address challenges, and share strategic insights
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity
  • Develop and manage comprehensive budgets and resource allocation strategies
  • Provide executive leadership with detailed performance reports and forward-looking strategic recommendations
  • Lead comprehensive performance and job cost reviews to drive strategic decision-making
  • Serve as a strategic technical advisor, ensuring technical excellence and innovation across the business line

Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based, with approximately 80% of time spent in an office environment and 20% at active construction sites. At times the SVP’s work will be conducted at construction work sites and will be exposed to varying temperatures ranges from 90+ degrees heat to cold weather which could include temperatures in the teens, and rainy conditions.
