Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The lists below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Minimum Qualifications
Driver's License: Required
Education: High School or GED preferred
Years of Experience: One year of related experience preferred
Reliable transportation and ability to come to work when scheduled
Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
Ability to perform general physical activities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Soldering experience with materials including Copper, Brass, Stainless, Mild Steel and Aluminun
Knowledge of the basic safety techniques and procedures
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines according to instructions received
Ability to organize, plan, and execute work assignments
Interpersonal skills necessary to work on a team
Ability to read and use a tape measure, and mark/record distances
Ability to identify, communicate and help resolve problems with the Foreman
Essential Functions
Read drawings to program machines
Operate various machines and produce quality products
Handle materials properly and safely
Interact with job tracking software
Physical Demands
Requires standing up for long periods of time
Requires seeing details at close range
Requires repetitive movement, bending or twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling
Requires lifting and carrying items weighing 50-100 pounds regularly
Requires steel-toed boots, eye & ear protection, gloves, and other PPE as needed
Work Environment
Requires working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions, in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures, including exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable
Includes exposure to contaminants, hazardous material, or equipment
Mistakes are not easily correctable and have serious consequences, therefore Safety procedures need to be followed
Requires exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings
Requires exposure to high places or dangerous conditions
